Welcome

On behalf of the Women’s Panhellenic Association, welcome to another semester at WashU! We’re very excited to welcome the Class of 2015 to campus and to get started on all our favorite events—from Rock the Row and Faculty Appreciation Dinner to our new partnership with the Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) in St. Louis. On this website, you’ll find updates on Panhellenic programming and events, as well as information on both Panhellenic Recruitment 2012 and our seven sororities on campus. We’re pleased to announce that we will extend an invitation to colonize to an eighth sorority, who will come to campus in Spring 2013. The final candidates are Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Delta Pi, and Kappa Delta; each will make an on-campus presentation, and these events are open to the entire WashU community. Please visit our Calendar page to see times and dates for presentations, and contact Lucy Morlan at lucy.morlan@wustl.edu if you are interested in attending. You can also visit the Officers section of the website, where you’ll find contact information for our ten WPA Executive Board members. We would be happy to talk with you to address any of your questions or comments.

Both as individuals and as a community, we strive to fulfill the six pillars of Arete, our Greek values system. These pillars—integrity, loyalty, philanthropy, responsibility, friendship, and intellectual curiosity—guide our actions as Panhellenic members, Greek women, and campus leaders. I am honored to represent the exceptional group of women that make up the Panhellenic community, and I hope you enjoy learning more about sorority life at Washington University!

Panhellenically,
Anna Constantino
2011 Women’s Panhellenic Association President
