Kappa Kappa Gamma
Kappa Kappa Gamma was founded October 13, 1870, at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. Kappa Kappa Gamma seeks for every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.
Kappa’s symbols are the golden key, the fleur-de-lis, and the owl. Its colors are dark and light blue and its jewel is the sapphire. The fraternity supports Reading is Fundamental and literacy as its national philanthropy.
